I always wanted to love hummus, but I didn’t. For the longest time I couldn’t figure out what is was…until it hit me- THE TAHINI! Besides having a strong bitter flavor, there are also those with sesame allergies, so I decided to create a recipe without it. I also added in Lemon and Rosemary essential oils to really enhance the flavor and increase therapueutic benefits.
*Lemon provides cleansing and digestive benefits, and supports healthy respiratory function. Rosemary supports healthy digestion and when taken internally also helps reduce nervous tension and occasional fatigue.
Lemon & Rosemary Hummus(Tahini Free)
In a food processor, blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy. Serve with organic sliced vegetables or gluten free crackers. Store in the refrigerator.
