Warm Spiced Turmeric Latte

Cold days call for warm drinks!

If you’ve never heard of a Turmeric Latte, then get your cup of coffee ready for a challenge.  It’s a cozy alternative filled with nutrients, antioxidants, and warming flavors without all the caffeine.

This turmeric latte, AKA Golden Milk, not only gives you the comfort of a warm, delicious drink, it also delivers a healing boost. Turmeric contains curcumin(the active ingredient that gives it the golden color) which acts as a powerful antioxidant to fight free radicals and reduce inflammation. A yummy way to boost immunity during the winter! What’s not to love?!

Warm Spiced Tumeric Latte

  • 1 cup unsweetened Almond Milk(or any plant-based milk of choice)
  • 1 tsp pure maple syrup, raw honey or coconut sugar
  • 2 tsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon, plus more for sprinkling on top
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • a pinch of black pepper  


In a small pot, add all ingredients over low heat and whisk to combine. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 3-5 minutes, whisking occasionally. Drink and enjoy!

You can make a big batch in your blender and store in the fridge for up to 5 days. Warm up a cup when you’re ready to drink.
