Salmon Patties
- 15 oz Canned Wild Caught Salmon drained
- 2 tablespoon Mayo
- 2 Eggs
- ½ cup Almond Flour
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- ½ teaspoon Paprika
- 2 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
- ¼ cup Fresh Parsley or Chives chopped; fresh herbs are optional, if you don't have them on hand just skip it, but they do give these patties lots of extra flavor.
- 2 tablespoon Avocado Oil or your favorite cooking oil for sauteing
Garlic Aioli
- ½ cup Mayo
- 1 tablespoon Ketchup
- ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Ground Cayenne Pepper
Salmon Patties
Mix together all ingredients for the salmon cakes(except oil) in a medium sized bowl.
In a large stove top pan, heat oil on medium-high until simmering
Using your hands, form salmon mixture into round patties.
Saute the cakes for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Don't try to flip them until a nice crust has formed on the bottom. Add more oil as needed.
Transfer to a plate and serve with Garlic Aioli and lemon wedges.
Garlic Aioli
In a small bowl, mix together the mayo, ketchup, garlic powder, salt and cayenne. Cover and chill until serving.
