Equipment

  • Donut Pans

Ingredients

  • cups Almond Flour
  • 4 tablespoon Coconut Flour
  • ½ cup Tapioca Flour
  • ½ teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 5 tablespoon Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • 4 Eggs
  • 4 tablespoon Coconut Oil melted
  • ½ cup Pure Maple Syrup
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Chocolate Glaze

  • 4 tablespoon Coconut Oil melted
  • 4 tablespoon Pure Maple Syrup
  • 4 tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350° and grease your donut pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, start making the donut batter by adding your wet ingredients-eggs, coconut oil, maple syrup and vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together your dry ingredients. Then combine with your wet ingredients.
  • Scoop batter into each donut mold about halfway to ¾ full. Gently flatten any uneven batter with the back of a spoon.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until you can press your finger into the donut and it springs back.
  • While you're waiting for the donuts to bake, mix together the glaze ingredients in a small bowl until smooth. Set aside.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool a few minutes before adding the frosting.
  • Dip the top of each donut into the glaze, decorate and serve.
