- 3½ cups Gluten-Free All Purpose Flour
- ½ cup Oil extra virgin olive oil
- 1½ cups Warm Water
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Instant Yeast
- 2-3 cloves Garlic minced
- 1½ teaspoon Salt
Garnish
- Rosemary, Thyme, Sea Salt Flakes
Grease a 9" x 13" baking sheet by drizzling about 2 tablespoons of the olive oil. The olive oil gives the bottom crust great flavor and a good crunch.
Infuse olive oil with garlic by placing the oil in a small pan over low heat. Add minced garlic cloves and simmer a few minutes until aromatic. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes.
Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture then beat until a dough begins to form.
Combine 3 tablespoons of the olive oil with the rest of the dough ingredients, and beat with an electric mixer for about 60 seconds.
Place the sticky batter into the prepared pan, cover the pan, and let it rise at room temperature for 1 hour.
Gently poke the dough all over with your index fingers.
Drizzle it lightly with the rest of the olive oil, and sprinkle the dried herbs of your choice. Place the bread in a cold oven and heat to 375°. The bread will continue to rise for a second time while the oven is preheating. Bake until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.
