Ingredients

  • cups Gluten-Free All Purpose Flour
  • ½ cup Oil extra virgin olive oil
  • cups Warm Water
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Instant Yeast
  • 2-3 cloves Garlic minced
  • teaspoon Salt

Garnish

  • Rosemary, Thyme, Sea Salt Flakes

Instructions

  • Grease a 9" x 13" baking sheet by drizzling about 2 tablespoons of the olive oil. The olive oil gives the bottom crust great flavor and a good crunch.
  • Infuse olive oil with garlic by placing the oil in a small pan over low heat. Add minced garlic cloves and simmer a few minutes until aromatic. Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  • Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture then beat until a dough begins to form.
  • Combine 3 tablespoons of the olive oil with the rest of the dough ingredients, and beat with an electric mixer for about 60 seconds.
  • Place the sticky batter into the prepared pan, cover the pan, and let it rise at room temperature for 1 hour.
  • Gently poke the dough all over with your index fingers.
  • Drizzle it lightly with the rest of the olive oil, and sprinkle the dried herbs of your choice. Place the bread in a cold oven and heat to 375°. The bread will continue to rise for a second time while the oven is preheating. Bake until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.
