Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoon Cacao Powder unsweetened
  • ½ cup Water
  • 4 tablespoon Pure Maple Syrup
  • 4 cups Plant-Based Milk unsweetened
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Peppermint Extract

Instructions

  • Combine the water, cacao powder and maple syrup in a saucepan. Whisk over low heat until it turns into a chocolate syrup.
  • Add milk and raise heat to medium while continuing to whisk until well combined. Heat through to desired temperature, but avoid boiling.
  • Stir in peppermint extract then serve immediately. Top with marshmallows, coconut whipped cream or crushed candy canes, if desired. Enjoy!
