Ingredients
  

  • 4 tablespoon Cacao Powder unsweetened
  • ½ cup Water
  • 4 tablespoon Pure Maple Syrup
  • 4 cups Plant-Based Milk unsweetened
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Peppermint Extract

Method
 

  1. Combine the water, cacao powder and maple syrup in a saucepan. Whisk over low heat until it turns into a chocolate syrup.
  2. Add milk and raise heat to medium while continuing to whisk until well combined. Heat through to desired temperature, but avoid boiling.
  3. Stir in peppermint extract then serve immediately. Top with marshmallows, coconut whipped cream or crushed candy canes, if desired. Enjoy!
