Honey Chili Chicken Wings
These Baked Honey Chili Chicken Wings are a delicious twist on traditional fried wings. Baking them in the oven creates the same crispy outside, while the easy homemade sauce has a unique flavor all of it's own! - 3lbs Chicken Wings cut into drumsticks and flat wings
- 1 tablespoon Baking Powder aluminum free
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- Pepper to taste
Honey Chili Sauce
- ¼ cup Hot Sauce Frank's Red Hot
- 4 tablespoon Butter Melted; use vegan butter for dairy-free
- 1 tablespoon Honey
- 1 tbsp Chili Powder
Preheat oven to 400°.
Toss the chicken wings with salt, pepper garlic powder and baking powder. Cover a baking sheet with foil and place a cooling rack inside the baking sheet. Arrange the chicken wings on the cooling rack in a single layer.
In a small bowl, use a spoon to mix the hot sauce, melted butter, honey and chili powder until well combined.
Bake for 20 minutes, flip the wings and brush on ½ of the Honey Chili Sauce evenly coating the chicken wings.
Bake another 20-30 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
Toss wings with the remaining sauce. Broil for the last 2-3 minutes for an extra crispy coating.
Serve immediately, or keep chilled and reheat at 350° before serving until warmed.
