- Preheat oven to 375°
- Combine butter & sugar in a mixing bowl. Beat at high speed until light and fluffy.
- Add egg, vanilla & salt, beat until blended.
- On low speed, gradually beat in flour.
- To add color: Separate dough into multiple small bowls using food coloring as desired.
- Following manufacturer's directions, place dough into the cookie press and press out cookies(using any template you like!) about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Decorate cookies with colored sugar/sprinkles.
- Bake about 8 minutes or until golden. Watch closely! Oven temps may vary.
- Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in an air-tight container for up to one week or freeze.
