Easy to Make Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies
No matter the season or day, these gluten free cookie bars are always a hit! Taking a new approach to the familiar round cookie shape we all know, these uniquely shaped chocolate chip cookie squares make a perfect on-the-go treat. Since I try to fit all my baking into my busy schedule, these cookies are made in one batch and then easily cut into bars from the baking tray. It's a huge time saver! You can choose to cut all these cookies the same size or allow those to help themselves to their desired serving! Now, let's learn just how easy it is to bake this sweet and simple treat!
What Are the Secret Ingredients in this Recipe for Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars?
For this easy cookie recipe, you should have a lot of these ingredients on hand, but in case you don't, here's what you'll need...
Gluten-Free flour
Baking Soda
Salt
Butter
Brown Sugar
Granulated Sugar
Vanilla Extract
Eggs
Chocolate Chips
Now that you have what you need, let's get to baking
Start with preheating your oven to 375 degrees.
Next, take a large bowl and use a hand mixer to cream the softened butter and all the sugars together. Once it starts to mix, add your eggs, vanilla extract and beat well.
After beating your mixture, slowly add your dry ingredients. In between each addition, continue to mix well. Once all ingredients are fully mixed, stir in your chocolate chips; add as many as you would like!
Take your mixture and spread it onto a large baking sheet. Bake for about 18-20 minutes. Let cool before cutting the cookies into bar shapes. Then you're ready to enjoy!

Ingredients
- 2ยพ cups Gluten Free 1:1 Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Butter softened
- ยพ cup Brown Sugar
- ยฝ cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 Eggs
- 2 cups Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375ยฐ.
- In a large bowl, use a hand mixer to cream the butter and sugars together. Add eggs and vanilla extract, beat well.
- Slowly add your dry ingredients, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
