- 2 lbs Italian Sausage cut in chunks or leave in links! We love using a mix of sweet & hot sausage.
- 1 medium onion sliced in half moons
- 3 bell peppers thinly sliced (whatever colors you want to use!)
- 1 jar 28oz of your favorite marinara sauce
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
- salt/pepper to taste
- ยผ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional for some extra spice!
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown sausages for 2-3 minutes per side for extra flavor. (You can skip this step if pressed for time.)
- Place sliced peppers and onions in the bottom of your slow cooker. Top with sausages, garlic, crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
