Steps on How to Make This Recipe for Key Lime Bars

Now that we have all that we need, it's time to get to baking! While the prep time is very quick, keep in mind I recommend leaving 4 hours aside to cool your key lime filling.

With that being said, let's start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees. For the graham cracker crust using a food processer, pulse the graham cracker until you have crumbs. No worries if you do not have a food processer, crumbling up the graham crackers can be done by hand or with a mallet. Once you have your crumbs combine your sugar and melted butter, then spread the crust at the bottom of an 8 x 8 pan. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown!

While the crust cools off, start making you key lime filling. All you need to start with is a bowl! Add cream cheese to your mixing bowl and beat it until smooth. Next pour in both cans of sweetned condensed milk, the lime juice and lime zest. Once again mix until smooth then pour the mixture over your cooled graham cracker crust.

Finally, bake for another 10 minutes and let pan cool in the fridge for 4 hours before serving. This ensures your key lime bars will stay in their shape and have a cool and refreshing taste perfect for summer!
