Ingredients for the Best Gluten Free Cut Out Sugar Cookies

No need to take a long trip to the grocery store, this easy recipe uses ingredients you should have at your fingertips in your pantry! Here is what we will need to start:

  • Gluten Free All Purpose Flour Blend
  • Granulated Sugar
  • Butter
  • Egg Yolks
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Salt

Let's Get to Baking with the Following Instructions

Now that we have all of our ingredients, lets start baking!

First, take your sugar and butter and combine in a mixing bowl. Begin to beat the mixture until creamy. Now, add the egg yolks and vanilla extract. Continue to beat the mixture while scraping the edges of the bowl when needed. Gradually add flour and salt. Beat at a low speed until well mixed together and a dough has formed!

Once you have your cookie dough, cover the bowl and leave the mixture in a refrigerator for 1 hour until firm. While waiting preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Once your dough is firm, roll only half of the dough out at a time, leaving the other half in the refrigerator to firm. Spread the dough till it is about ¼ inches thick. Continue to cut your dough out using your choice of cookie cutter shapes! Repeat with the other half of your dough. Finally place on ungreased baking sheets.

Place in your heated oven and proceed to bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned. Once fully cooked, take the cookies out of the oven and let them cool before frosting and decorating. Once decorated your cookies are perfect to eat!
