Ingredients Needed to Make This Apple Cinnamon Bread Recipe
Batter Ingredients
This recipe is so easy and made with only simple ingredients you most likely already have on hand in your kitchen.
- Gluten-Free 1:1 Flour. You can you use your favorite, but I used King Arthur Measure for Measure Gluten-Free Flour.
- Apples. I would use granny smith or honey crisp for this recipe because they are firm and tart, and hold their texture when baking. The recipe calls for 2 cups which will be about 2 apples, depending on size.
- Eggs
- Oil. I used avocado oil.
- Water
- Brown Sugar
- Granulated Sugar
- Salt
- Baking Soda
- Baking Powder
- Cinnamon
- Vanilla Extract
Glaze Ingredients
The glaze is optional, but recommended to turn this bread into the ultimate dessert! Just combine confectioner's sugar, cinnamon and a couple tablespoons of unsweetened plant-based milk to pour on top of the apple loaf when it's finished baking.

Can I use apple pie filling?
Thriving Gluten Free
Hi Lisa, this recipe was made for fresh, uncooked apples. The apple pie filling will definitely have too much liquid but it might be a yummy topping!
